WHERE WE ARE

The Art of Acting Studio is conveniently located in the heart of Hollywood. It features state-of-the-art studio facilities with a hip, modern edge. The Studio is an acting school formed in 2010 with the merger of several schools rooted in the Stella Adler technique. Therefore, the quality of attendees is always very high which gives our workshops a reputation for having professional caliber actors.

WHO WE ARE

Based on the roster of projects currently in production, we carefully select the casting directors who are either in the process of casting or gearing up to cast a project. You can rest assured that each of our hand-picked casting directors are among the most sought after in town. We also choose casting directors who have a propensity for calling actors from workshops.

Casting director workshops are a great way to be pro-active in your career:

• Meet casting directors who do not otherwise call in actors they
  have not met before.
  
  
• Target a specific show or project for which you think you would be perfect. The Shortlist gives you an opportunity to meet the casting director and get your foot in the door.
  
  
• If you have auditioned for a casting director before, this is a way to maintain your relationship with that office.
  
  
• If you have not been seen by a casting office for some time, and would like to reconnect, this is a perfect way to remind the office of why they are a fan.

The Shortlist does not require an audition. We work solely by referral. We only accept cancellations via email. There is a 48 hour cancellation policy. If you cancel, you will receive a credit in the amount you paid towards a future workshop. THERE ARE NO REFUNDS. If you cancel within 48 hours of the workshop and we are unable to fill your spot, or if the class is not full or there is no one to take your spot off the waiting list, you will be responsible for payment.

We do our best to ensure that the information we provide about the casting directors and associates is up to date, however, we are not responsible for our guests changing offices, projects, types of workshop or canceling. In the event that a casting director cancels, your fee will be applied to a future workshop of your choice. If you are interested in a workshop, please sign up and pay online.
